In 2020 I achieved a first-class degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Birmingham. I am now studying an MA in Creative Writing at Royal Holloway. My focus is mainly on prose (novel writing and short stories), and scri ptwriting (plays, audio drama etc.), but I am also happy to look at poetry, creative non-fiction and memoir.
For the past five years I have worked as a writer and producer in the arts sector. I have taught writing workshops to participants of all ages and enjoy helping people find their authorial voice. I believe that every writer is different, and although their are many structures and guidelines to writing, there is no one rule. I am here to guide, support and teach, but not tell you there is the "right" way of doing things. We will set goals collaboratively, whether that be to write a book, or just self-expression.

Availability: I have availability after-school and evenings from Tuesday-Friday, and during the weekend.

Experience: As previously mentioned, I have a first class degree in English Literature and Creative Writing and am about to undertake an MA in Creative Writing. I have also been commissioned to write for various heritage sites and companies including: Selly Manor, Aston Hall, Don`t Settle, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery and C&T.
I ran a funded Birmingham-based adults writing community for four years. I have also run writing workshops in schools, youth groups and events (including the Shakespeare Trust).
