Information about Lyndsay
I am a qualified secondary school teacher of science; teaching biology, chemistry, and physics through key stages 3 and 4 - and also biology towards post 16 courses. I have completed a PGCE and been awarded QTS status. Currently I tutor alongside my teaching post which is extremely useful as I have a good understanding of where pupils lose critical marks in exams.
My background before teaching was in healthcare, and I was awarded first class honours in my physiological sciences degree - hence biology is my specialism.
I have a good knowledge of curriculum and exam board specifications.
I am passionate about what I teach, and strive to promote a love of learning both in the classroom and in my tutees. I am a very patient and reliable tutor.
Recently I have taken my tutoring online, using interactive software to allow sharing of work and feedback. All you require is an internet connection, webcam, and microphone (inbuilt is sufficient).
Please get in contact should you be interested in finding out more about my online tutoring services.
Availability: Evenings and weekends.
Willing to travel: 50 miles

4 years teaching experience; Key stages 3 & 4 - all sciences.
