Phelim

Hello my name is Phelim. I am a fully qualified teacher working in London and I have a genuine passion for this vocation. I have been tutoring independently for the past few years; I have found it incredibly rewarding and I believe that I am a better educator for it. Over this time I have developed a range of resources that I am eager to share and put into practice. Given the current climate, and the remote teaching that I have been doing on a daily basis, I would like to further refine these skills and I believe additional tutoring would be the best way to do it.

Experience: I have been teaching for 4 years. I have taught in 2 state schools in Northern Ireland and England teaching English literature and language KS3-GCSE. For the last two years I have been teaching English and Drama KS3- A-level at a Private school in London. I have also done a significant amount of independent tutoring over the last 3 years. I have 4 years experience as an assistance youth worker at various youth organisations including CAPAA Autism and Patrician Youth centre. I have worked as a GCSE English examiner for AQA and CCEA so my teaching is often done with the assessment objectives firmly in mind.
