I am an experienced primary school teacher and have taught in KS1, KS2 and the Early Years Foundation Stage. I currently manage the Early Years Foundation Stage alongside my teaching. I am able to offer excellent tuition in Literacy and Mathematics. As well as planning and preparing resources for each tutoring session, I can also support with homework or exam preparation.

I am a strong believer that learning should be enjoyable for children, and try to portray this in my teaching by making lessons interactive, interesting and fun! I feel it is important to build a strong rapport with children, to gain their trust and respect, which will in turn build their confidence. My teaching has been graded `outstanding` by Ofsted and my school senior leadership team, and have been particularly praised for my ability to differentiate and adapt my teaching style to meet the needs of the individual child.

Availability: I am available weekday evenings and some weekends.

Experience: I am currently a committed primary school teacher, teaching a Year 1 class at primary school which has been graded by Ofsted as outstanding. I studied my PGCE at the University of Greenwich. I studied English Literature and Language at the Reading University, and graduated July 2011 with a 2:1.

I have had substantial teaching experience many year groups, teaching in all areas of the National Curriculum. As well as whole class teaching, I also work with children in intervention groups or on a 1-1 basis to provide extra support. I have learnt a variety of teaching skills which I apply to private tutoring sessions.
