Hi, my name is Noorjahan and I am a first year undergraduate studying biomedical science at St George (City, St George).

By thoroughly reviewing curriculum topic lists and specifications with students , I can identify both strengths and areas for improvements. This allows me to design personalised learning plans for each individual to suit their needs and pace, thus creating effective lessons which waste no time. I am able to cater to any exam board or specification and have experience using exam techniques, practice questions and mark schemes - utilising these tools in my lessons to help students grasp challenging concepts and prepares them for assessments. There will also be the use of whiteboard tools for interactive teaching and weekly progress checks to help identify gaps.

I am particularly focused on providing specialised revision and exam preparation support for KS3 and GCSE students who require additional help in Biology and Chemistry. Additionally, I support KS2 students with Maths, whether they are preparing for SATs, the 11+, or require general assistance.

My academic journey so far has provided me with a strong foundation in scientific principles, mathematical reasoning, and in-depth subject knowledge, which I aim to apply effectively in my teaching.
