Information about Ewa
I am an Upper Sixth Student at St Olave`s and St Saviour`s Grammar School, studying Maths, Chemistry and Biology to A2 level.
I have over 2 years of experience in tutoring, working with younger students at my school at a mentor and volunteering at a Saturday School, teaching children aged as young as five.
I am willing and able to tutor in both English and in Polish.
My organised approach to tutoring allows me to initially assess pupils and then to track progress, discussing problem areas with both pupils and liaising with parents. I am very enthusiastic, experienced and am able not only to teach the syllabus, but also to encourage pupils to develop a deeper understanding and a passion for the subject. Having recently completed my GCSE and AS levels, I know first hand what is required by exam boards, the stresses presented by public examinations and how to develop the best study habits.
The Summer Holiday is a crucial time to consolidate what has been learnt in school over the past year, to clear up any areas where pupils are struggling and to get ahead with material being covered in the following school year. As a consequence I am also offering to tutor over this period.
