I have a PhD in English Literature and am passionate about unlocking English as a subject for students no matter the stage they are at in their secondary education or their ability. I will work closely with students as individuals, looking to tailor the work to their needs to help them unlock their potential in the subject and achieve their best possible grades.
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: Whilst I do not currently hold QTS, I have taught English at several secondary schools so possess comprehensive knowledge of the demands that the curriculum places on students and know how to get students to meet those. I have working knowledge of the AQA GCSE English Language and English Literature specifications and will be able to support students working towards those qualifications.
