I am a recent graduate from the University of Southampton in Modern Languages (Spanish, French and Portuguese). I am also a native Italian speaker. I worked as a cover teacher for a short duration, supporting students in their preparation for the (AS) A level oral exams. Mentored them to improve their spoken fluency in Italian. I did some tutoring over the summer to help native italian speakers with their written and spoken english. My aim is to make the lessons fun and enjoyable by helping students to gain confidence and fluency in the target language.

My teaching method is quite flexible. Firstly, I believe that it is key to understand the struggles and goals of a student and tailor a study programme that meets their needs . I usually plan each class based on the area they want to improve weather its fluency, written communication, grammar or vocabulary.

Experience: Translation
In 2015, I worked with an Italian magazine called `Sicilia - Isola del tesoro` produced by (OPTM) - Osservatorio per le Politiche Turistiche del Mediterraneo. Coordinated with a colleague we translated 34 articles from Italian into English. It was recognized by the management of OPTM for the effort through our names being mentioned in the published book.

• Richard Taunton Sixth Form College - I worked as a cover teacher for a short duration, supporting the students in their preparation for the (AS) A level oral exams. Mentored them to improve their spoken fluency in Italian.
• Woodlands Community College- I supported teachers in conducting Spanish and French lessons as well as mentored year 11 students to prepare for their oral exams.
