Information about Graham
I am a highly experienced full time tutor with over 20 years teaching and tutoring experience behind me. I am passionate about what I do in explaining work in a simple way to students and finding innovative ways that they can check their own work so that they are not depending on any teacher, and this speeds up their learning.
I am now fully online and can offer tutoring from different platforms. This is working really well and I have received a lot of positive feedback.
I have also marked exam papers for 3 education boards, which has been an invaluable experience that highlights common exam errors. I have been a full time tutor since 2015 and although I tutor all levels, I have often been asked to assist pupils whose confidence is low and I do feel like I specialise in this, and that is often praised in my feedback.
Do please therefore read my reviews as I live on my reputation, and lastly I hope to see you soon.
Availability: Monday to Friday, I have a full time tutoring timetable so try me.
Willing to travel: 12 miles
Experience: I have 20+ years teaching in a variety of different secondary schools. I have helped pupils out who have special education needs and assisted many GCSE and A level pupils achieve their grades. Do please check out my reviews.
I am often asked to help pupils who are low in confidence and have devised methods that will specifically help them. I specialise in tables training because I found this to be an area of weakness for many.
I have experience marking exams for 2 different GCSE examination boards and a key stage 3 exam board. This has been invaluable in guiding my advice to my tutees so they can avoid common errors and thus gain marks.
