I have recently graduated from the University of Southampton with First Class Honours in Economics and Finance. I am currently taking a gap year before I begin my career in Investment Banking next September.

Whether I am teaching online or in person, I tend to vary my approach based on what works well for the student and I preplan all my lessons! Typically, I like to do some practice questions within the topic we are focussing on, to get a feel for the student`s ability. Then I will work with them on the areas they are struggling with, using engaging tools, such as videos, games and presentations if needed. I will finish off the topic with some practice exam questions.
A typical lesson can vary from 45 mins to 2 hours, depending on what the student requires.

I have internship experience in Investment Banking, Sales & Trading and Accounting roles and have also received graduate scheme offers from big 4 firms, so I am also happy to provide mentorship to anyone looking to go into these areas. As someone whose university education has been disrupted by Covid, I can empathise with other students who may require a little extra help to achieve their targets and would love to be able to help others prosper to the best of their abilities!

Experience: I have previously tutored GCSE Maths privately and via MyTutor, so I have experience tutoring in person and via zoom. I have also previously tutored GCSE Spanish, however, I am mainly looking for those requiring a Maths tutor. During my time at Sixth Form, I was a maths and reading mentor and received training on how to best aid younger students in KS3.
