I have just completed my last year of school life at King Edward VI Five Ways Grammar School. My A-Levels exams have finally come to a conclusion and I am embarking on a gap year with the end goal being to apply to study dentistry at university.

My A-Level subjects were:
Chemistry
Biology
History
Economics (up to AS)

I got 11 A*A grades at GCSE

I was an Academic Mentor in school and outside school for 3 years where I was able to help children aged between 9 and 17 years.

I can tutor the following subjects:

History (AS & A2 also depends on the units and periods of history being studied)

My exams were predominantly certified by AQA, but I can cater to other exam boards as well.

My ideology of teaching is for students to enjoy a subject. When they come to revise a subject they enjoy it and it becomes far less arduous. That is my aim to inspire a love for a subject to ensure the top grades for the students. I will work specifically to the specification required, interchanging book work with interactive resources that will be available to the students. I can work through a whole course or specific areas whatever is required.

Experience: Completed secondary and sixth form education at King Edward VI Five Ways Grammar School where I sat my GCSEs and A-Levels. I achieved 11 A*A grades at GCSE and am awaiting my A-Level results. I believe being a student that has just finished school life I am very much in touch with modern teaching practices and the best way to learn and teach a subject. My knowledge is up to date and I have lots of resources that am happily willing to share to ensure the best grades are achieved.
