I am a primary school teacher, turned full time tutor, who has 20 years of experience working with children in the classroom and in a 1:1 situation. I particularly enjoy teaching English and Maths, but also plan to your child`s interests to ensure they are enthused by what they`re learning.

I am patient, kind, punctual and up-to-date with the curriculum.

I have a current DBS certificate and can provide references.

Availability: I am a full time tutor and I`m fully booked after school and weekends. I`m currently looking for students who do not attend school. I would like to support families with home-schooling - I am available every weekday until 2pm.

Experience: I worked as a Reception class teacher in an independent school in London for twelve years. I have a great deal of experience in teaching children to read, write and understand the maths concepts introduced at primary school level.

Furthermore, I have taught children how to use grammar, punctuation, connectives, how to increase the length of their writing, spellings, phonics (for reading and writing), language development and comprehension.

With regard to mathematical topics, I have experience in teaching addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, shape, space and measure, mental maths strategies, place value, time and geometry.
I am also experienced in supporting children with SEND particularly those with Autism and ADHD.
