I am an experienced, highly committed and friendly tutor who specialises in teaching Law and English as a second language. I very much enjoy mentoring and building rapport with students, and will always go the extra mile to help them achieve success. I am aware of the issues that many learners face, particularly in terms of self-confidence, and I am dedicated to helping them to overcome obstacles and maximise their potential.

Availability: Weekdays and early evenings, plus Saturday mornings.

Experience: Having originally qualified and practised as a solicitor, I started my teaching career as a law lecturer at a local college in 2001 and worked there for many years, teaching on a wide range of adult, professional and higher education law courses. I have also undertaken private tuition for a number of years, both for students undertaking A Level Law and CILEx exams. I currently work part time at a private tutor centre for students who are either taking fast track A Level Law or retaking their exams. I have a very strong record of student improvement and achievement.

Consequently, I have experience of teaching a very wide range of law units and courses at all levels on academic, vocational and professional courses. I can help students with revision and exam techniques in order to maximise their exam performance, and I am also very experienced at helping with course work, including suggestions for improvement and proof reading.
