Information about John
Over twenty years of teaching experience. Most of this has been with adults and the 16-19 years age group but I also have experience teaching Years 7, 8 and 9 and some degree teaching.
Many years experience of acting as a personal tutor to both teenagers and adults and of preparing students for university entry.
I have always emphasized the importance of a simple, strong written style and of the structure and simplicity of essay construction. I have encouraged students to express and defend their opinions in their writing as I know through experience as an A Level examiner that this is what is essential for the highest grades.
A career dedicated to inspiring students to be intellectually engaged and aspirational in everything they do.
Keen sportsman and father!
