I have enough experience to provide reassurance to tutees, but am still young in the profession and keep my teaching fresh, contemporary and exciting. Over the past 6 years of my teaching experience, I have taught across age ranges from KS2 up to A-Level Science. I have loved teaching such a range of ages and this has given me vast experience and knowledge of Science courses and examination boards.

I am a sporty individual who enjoys running, skiing and cycling. I love the outdoors, being with my family and sprocker spaniel in the countryside. I have just relocated from London, hence looking for new tutees.

I am a very positive individual and as a qualified life coach I like to perceive my positive attitude on life and learning is a valuable personal characteristic.

Availability: I am currently available from July onwards during afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Experience: I am secondary level trained as a Biology specialist and my teaching experience spans over six years to date. I have been lucky enough to teach across a diverse age range from Biology at A-Level, Biology, Physics and Chemistry at GCSE, and the Science Common Entrance to KS3 and KS2. My academic teaching roles have included being subject Leader at GCSE level, KS3 Biology leader and KS2 Science leader.
I am currently Head of KS2 Science and Head of Year 6 at a Preparatory School with over 600 children in London. My husband and I are now relocating to Northamptonshire this summer.

As KS2 Science Leader, I deliver and support the delivery of Science to Year 3 up to Year 6, with additional teaching of Biology at Common Entrance level and London Day Schools in Year 8.

I have tutored children both at GCSE and A-Level in Warwickshire, before moving to London three years ago.

Last year I also gained an MA in Education whilst working full time, which has greatly enhanced my knowledge and provides me with a more holistic approach to the understanding and delivery and leadership of education.
