I’m an English teacher who loves making learning fun, relaxed, and enjoyable. I currently teach in a secondary school, working with a wide range of learners and my aim is to help you feel confident, make progress, and genuinely enjoy English.

I’ve taught in colleges and schools and have been tutoring for over 10 years. Hearing students say they enjoy my lessons motivates me most. I’ve taught English at many levels and know how important it is for every learner to feel included and valued. I use visual, hands‑;on, and discussion‑;based activities because everyone learns differently.

Before teaching in formal settings, I home‑;educated my four children for five years. This helped me become adaptable, creative, and flexible, and taught me how to tailor learning to each person’s needs and interests.

I’m confident using a wide range of resources to help students reach their goals. I’ve also created ILPs and contributed to EHCPs to ensure learners get the support they need.

I care deeply about my students’ progress and wellbeing and work hard to remove barriers to learning. Safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion are central to my practice, and I always create a safe, respectful learning environment.

Above all, I’m passionate about helping young people grow academically and personally. I love designing lessons that are creative, interactive, and enjoyable, and I hope to inspire a genuine love of learning in every student I teach.

I have over 10 years of teaching experience across colleges, secondary schools, alternative provisions, and private tutoring. I currently teach at secondary level, delivering KS3 and KS4 lessons with a particular specialism in GCSE teaching. I hold a Diploma in Education and Training, and I am on track to complete my top‑;up degree by the summer, after which I will obtain QTS.
