Experience: I have 15 years of experience in delivering educational programmes in a range of KS3/KS4 subjects in mainstream schools, after-school clubs, pastoral units and PRU. I have been involved in teaching whole classes, small groups and individuals, covering a wide range of topics and abilities.Working with permanently excluded young learners requires adaptability, thorough understanding of their needs and constant professional development. The subjects I am most familiar with include: Citizenship, Cultural Studies, PSHE, History, Careers, Art and Social skills.I have experience in teaching French and English to young learners and have recently completed CELTA training that will enable me to teach adult learners as well. My topic for Master degree research, which I am going to start in October this year, will be dedicated to barriers for learning in mainstream schools, mainly focusing on ESL students.
