Information about Matthew
There is nothing more important in this world than a strong education. I have benefited immensely from one through the help of amazing teachers and peers. As such, I am dedicated to helping others learn and grow by challenging and assisting them in exactly the same way.
Occupationally I am a data scientist working for a London SaaS company which designs and builds marketing and CRM software. I analyse and visualise large data sets in order to build predictive models. Before my role in London, I spent 8 years in academia, reading physics at St Andrews (BSc), nuclear fusion at York (MSc), and materials science at Oxford (DPhil).

Experience: I have tutored individuals during my time in Oxford. The levels ranged from school children preparing for GCSE, A-Level, IB, and University entrance examinations to the undergraduates in maths and physics tutorials.
Between submitting my DPhil thesis and starting my new job in March 2018, I tutored GCSE and A-level mathematics and physics in the Durham area.
In addition to teaching, I have lectured on University life and other soft skills such as coping with stress to A-Level students and undergraduate first years.
