Information about Dorothy Rose
I am a teacher of English Literature and Language with a PGCE from UCL Institute of Education and a Masters in Modern Literature.
I have 17 years experience, 11 in a sixth form setting as an English lecturer (GCSE and A level) and learning support teacher. I have six years experience as an undergraduate tutor (testimonials available upon request).
I regularly take students up at least one grade, but usually it`s two. On one occasion a student went from a predicted `C` to an A** - after just six months of weekly tuition. * please see reviews for further information.

Dorothy Rose has been teaching Business English to an employee at a corporate company in London City for nearly 2 months and the lessons seem to be going extraordinarily well. In my opinion she is very competent, professional, reliable and organised, and I would highly recommend her services.

I can`t thank her enough for all the help she has given me. As a GCSE student whose English is the weakest subject, Dorothy helped me prove my school`s predicted grades wrong. Her weekly feedback and corrections to my literature essays were the most important factor for my rapid improvement. Within 5/6 months of tutoring, I went from a C to A* in English which is absolutely unbelievable. But, it happened and I thank her for that.

Dorothy Rose is a brilliant tutor, she straight away identified the problems my daughter has and after just a few lessons my daughter`s confidence is coming back and she feels much better about her coming GCSE exams next year.
