I recently completed a degree in secondary mathematics education with QTS through the University of Brighton (who were inspected by Ofsted in 2024 and received "outstanding" for their teaching programs). I am passionate about discovery learning where students develop their confidence through problem solving and finding connections. Tutoring provides a unique 1-2-1 opportunity to delve into any misconceptions and construct solid foundations on which to build upon.

Experience: I completed two secondary school placements during my teacher training and taught multiple classes (years 7-10). These students had significantly mixed abilities and all required slightly different approaches. I tutored my niece, who is in year 9, and really enjoyed the feeling of satisfaction when she "got it". I also have an in depth knowledge of the maths curriculum and how marks are awarded in GCSE exam papers.
