I am an experienced Chemistry, Physics and competitive university admissions tutor with a PhD in Materials Science, an MSci in Chemistry, a PGCE in Secondary Physics and full Qualified Teacher Status. Availability: I currently have limited availability during evenings, weekends and school holidays, as I balance a full teaching timetable with ongoing tutoring commitments. My schedule often books up quickly, but I remain flexible and accommodate students who are committed to making progress.

I offer in person tutoring within a roughly 15 mile radius of Haslemere, Surrey, covering the A3 and M3 corridors between Petersfield, Alton and Chertsey. This includes surrounding towns such as Guildford, Woking, Farnham, Farnborough and Aldershot.
The in person surcharge is waived for residents of Petersfield, Hampshire.
All in person locations are flexible and subject to consultation, allowing me to confirm whether a specific address is practical within my schedule.

I have extensive admissions test experience across legacy BMAT, PAT, ENGAA, and NSAA, and currently support the ESAT, UCAT and SAT. I have three years of experience as an expert marker for Pearson Edexcel IGCSE Paper 1, marking tens of thousands of responses worldwide. This insight directly informs my teaching, ensuring students understand exactly how marks are awarded and how to maximise performance on every question type.
