Information about Gregory
Hi,
I am an experienced teacher, tutor and lecturer in Physics and Chemistry from Key Stage 3 (years 7-9), through GCSE to A Level.
I believe in a skills-based approach to teaching, aiming to equip you with the key transferable skills required to boost your confidence, enable you to access exam-style questions and to prepare you for life beyond school.
I currently teach in an academically-selective independent secondary school and sixth form and have responsibilities across Physics, Science and Sixth Form.
I am available around my daily commitments in the evenings, weekends and school holidays. I would suggest weekly 1-1 sessions to support you with consolidating classwork, revising and preparing for exams.
I look forward to meeting you and to working together to improve your confidence, ability and results n Physics or Chemistry!
Greg

Greg has been tutoring my son A Level Chemistry. In the short he spent with him, 3 months, he raised his grade from a D to a B. His particular strength is in his style of teaching which is very interactive with lots of questions to check whether the information is being taken in. We would highly recommend Greg as an A Level tutor. Thanks Greg!

Greg is a brilliant tutor and he is very good at explaining concepts in Alevel Chemistry and my daughter`s grades have gotten better since starting tuition. He organises resources beforehand and gives advice on how to construct revision. I will definitely recommend him for tutoring.

Gregory is brilliant at getting across difficult concepts in chemistry. He provides you with detailed diagrams and summary sheets and makes great use of Molymods in order for you to fully understand the structure of molecules and how they are arranged in space. These are very useful when going over different chemical reactions and mechanisms. He has excellent knowledge of the specification and always uses keywords and phrases in his answers/explanations required to gain full marks in the exam. He asks questions during the sessions to make sure you have fully understood the concept and if you were unsure, he is more than happy to go over it again and provides a range of examples so you are 100% happy with the concept. He also provides you with a set of exam questions at the end of each session which are very useful.
I definitely recommend Gregory as a tutor.
