Hello my name is Silvia, I was born in Venice, Italy and I was lucky to have grown up in that beautiful city full of art and history. I completed my studies there and then I started travelling across Europe. I lived in Italy, Germany,Spain and now I live in Bristol, UK, where I currently teach Italian and EFL online.
I love exploring new cultures and I am always happy to plan new courses,meet new students and help them learn and gain confidence in their language and cultural skills.

Experience: My career in education spans more than 20 years and I have taught students from a wide range of backgrounds and learning styles, in private and public schools, online and face to face, in Italy, Germany, Spain and UK. My University studies, Degree in Modern Foreign Languages, and my passion for teaching helped me develop exceptional communication, interpersonal and motivational skills, which contributed to building my personal teaching style characterised by creating engaging contexts where language and culture meet.
I started as a Language Assistant at the Bilingual Primary School in Wolfsburg, Germany where I participated as a member of a team in the linguistic project promoted by the Italian Ministry of National Education to create an ad hoc course book for bilingual children. In the following years, I have continued to teach my mother tongue language in different contexts (private tuition, In Company classes, University exam preparation). I am also a CELTA certified teacher and I have been offering English classes, helping students prepare for Cambridge exams, IELTS and Trinity exams.
