Throughout my school life, I have been a passionate learner and have used that to my advantage. Firstly, by passing the 11+ and gaining a position at Southend High School for Boys, followed by achieving 11 A*s and 3 As at GCSE, followed by the uptake of 5 A-levels consisting of English Literature, History, Maths, Further Maths and Physics. It is with this academic achievement that I hope to become a Barrister in law. I was also recently selected for an overseas scholarship to the United States for which I attended an elite boarding school, the Lawrenceville School, in which I fully immersed myself in the rigorous academic, social, and sporting curriculum. I feel my age will give me an advantage over others seeing as I have only just recently been through the same process as those I am tutoring and understand the stress or difficulty, having been in the same position. Of course, I do have passions outside of academia. I am currently studying Grade 6 for Piano supplemented by Grade 5 musical theory and am in the Southend Boy`s jazz band as well as an avid member of both Southend Chamber choir and Southend Boys choir. I also enjoy my positions in the school debating team and as councillor. However, most importantly, above all academic qualifications and hobbies, I believe I can be a friend to any student, while still maintaining a professional boundary.

Availability: I am available to teach any student, from nursery age to GCSE and somewhat beyond in almost any area. My 14 GCSEs include English Literature, English Language, Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Economics, Religious Studies, French, ICT, Citizenship and General Studies with an A* grade in the majority. My weekends, for the most parts, are almost entirely available and I am also able to tutor weekday evenings also. Music is a passion of mine and I would be happy to assist any budding musicians needing an outside opinion on their playing.

Experience: I am currently involved in a wide variety of tutoring. I volunteer at a primary school, helping in all aspects of their learning - english, maths and science. I also partake in the mentoring of younger students at Southend High School for Boys in both academic and emotional circumstances and it is through this that I have been taught the value of effective tuition and how it can be done. During my stay in America, I also had the pleasure of undertaking local volunteering at a soup kitchen in which I would assist financially disadvantaged adults pass equivalent secondary school examinations so as to regain some economic and social stability.
