Bonjour! Are you looking to improve your child`s French / Italian GCSE or SATs grades? I am a French and Italian teacher with a degree in French and Italian from the University of Westminster and a Diplôme de Langue Française from the Alliance Française. I have travelled extensively in Italy and France and have worked in several multlingual posts. I and am passionate about languages and different cultures and enjoy helping students reach their full potential and gain confidence through 1:1 and group support.
I also teach English at Primary KS2 level and an help your children improve their SATs grades through one on one support. My aim is always to ensure that your child is able to apply what they learn with me to their work in the classroom as effectively as possible.

Experience: I am enhanced DBS checked and have in school experience teaching KS1 and KS2. I work with students from all abilities and tailor my lessons according to the needs and learning styles of each student.

My daughter moved schools last year and had to learn French from scratch as it was the only language available. From the start Sushma was as committed to our daughter’s journey as we were. She has a very organised, approach, and based her lessons around what the school was doing and is clearly a subject matter expert. Her tutoring style is relaxed, encouraging and engaging. She is easy to contact and very flexible around lesson times. The proof of the pudding is in the eating and thanks to Sushma our daughter has excelled in French, achieving 97% in her end of term exams (2nd only to a native French speaker) and she has chosen to take French as one of her GCSE options. I can’t praise Sushma highly enough - these results have far, far exceeded our expectations.

My daughter cannot wait for her French lesson each week. They are very engaging. Sushma is very flexible and adjusts lessons to obtain the best child engagement, and it is not the easiest task to do online. All is consistently perfect.

Sushma has been tutoring my 15 year old daughter, French for the past 3 months now. It started off with twice a week for 2 months, and now reduced to once a week sessions. Within in this short time, my daughter and I, have seen brilliant progress. My daughter really enjoys learning French, but her confidence and grades has dropped since the lockdown. Sushma is a lovely lady, very professional good communicator, she understands our needs and always on time. My daughter has found Sushma’s style of teaching to be enjoyable, comfortable, and the structure of the work easy to understand, due to it being thought out well, by Sushma, which follows in suit with my daughter’s lessons at school. I would highly recommend Sushma.
