Hi there,
I`m a retired languages teacher who is really missing teaching! I love explaining grammar and helping students understand the complexities of the language. I have taught all age groups and levels, from primary to GCSE, A level and International Baccalaureate. I have tutored for GCSE and A level and have found this personal, one to one approach particularly rewarding. I tailor my lessons to the needs of the individual and the particular exam board they are studying. I plan each lesson to include listening, speaking, reading and writing practice and of course I set homework!
I`m friendly, approachable and keen to help.

Availability: Monday to Thursday 11.30am to 6.30pm

Willing to travel: 3 miles

Experience: Taught in comprehensive schools, one of which was a specialist language college, in Nottinghamshire for 32 years

Held various positions of responsibility including Assistant Headteacher

BSc(Hons)IIi in French and Russian with German as a subsidiary
