I have been a maths teacher for 10 years now. I have taught in the UK and in Australia. I believe everyone can be successful in maths if given the right guidance. My tutoring sessions are very personalised to the student. I use a variety of diagnostic tools during the first 3-5 sessions to learn about the gaps in the tutees maths knowledge. I am also very aware that low confidence is often a barrier to maths learning. I embed a variety of engaging tasks and teaching strategies that promote confidence as well as retention. This usually leads to very good results.

Availability: Anytime during summer holidays (prices dropped to £40 per hour for bulk summer bookings). I tutor from my home.

Experience: In the UK I have worked at Canons High School and Queens Park Community School. The vast majority of my students have shown good to outstanding progress. I currently work at Canons High School as a Maths Teacher, Leader of Curriculum & Learning for KS3 Maths & as a Specialist Leader of Maths Education for Canons Park Teaching School Alliance. I also tutor 6 students currently who are making very good progress with me.
