Information about Gillian

I have recently returned from living and working in the Middle East and am semi-retired.
My teaching experience has been mainly with Key Stage 1 but I am able to tutor most subjects at Primary level. I have a great love of teaching reading at all levels.
I have a great deal of experience teaching students who have English as an additional language.

Experience: 38 years as a KS1 class teacher and Primary school Headteacher. My career started in Sheffield and then I taught in service children`s schools in Cyprus and Germany before moving to Abu Dhabi, UAE to work in large British Curriculum School.

Gillian is very approachable and came well prepared with lots of fun activities to help with our daughters learning. Due to her young age she is not at a stage where regular tutoring is required. Gillian is very flexible regarding this and is working round to suit our daughters needs. She is also very patient and I would highly recommend her.
