Information about Anna
I am a positive and enthusiastic graduate Chemistry student from The University of Nottingham. I currently offer GCSE science and A level tuition in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. I myself undertook these A levels not so long ago so I completely understand how difficult they can be. I know everybody learns at their own pace so I am very patient and supportive. I believe if you put in the effort any grade is possible! In the past I have taken students from a D to an A. My work focuses a lot on doing past papers and working on exam technique just so you are fully prepared for the exam! I know times are super difficult right now and a lot of students could be feeling really anxious for their exams next year, therefore I think this is the perfect time to get ahead of the game. For the time being I will be offering sessions on zoom, so the location really doesn`t matter! When things go back to normal I will willing to travel to hold sessions in person as I have a full driving licence and a car. My daughter was falling behind with her A level Biology and was really struggling particularly as lessons had been mostly online due to the pandemic. At the start of year 2 we made an enquiry to Anna with a view to having a tutor in person but because of the pandemic it had to be online, however this worked really well. She tailored the tutoring to what she needed. My daughter particularly wanted to cover the content to start with and she prepared lessons each week. She would also set questions and mark them out of the lesson time. She also covered past papers. This tutoring really helped my daughter`s confidence and she now looks on track to get a good grade.
