I am a qualified teacher with four years of experience in teaching and tutoring. I have taught a variety of students with different needs and abilities. I am currently doing a PhD at the school of Pharmacy, specialising in Chemistry. Tutoring is my passion and I love building relationships and helping students. I am extremely patient and will always go the extra mile with all my students, hence I offer extra support via email if students want to ask me any questions. I believe that with hard work any grade is possible and in the past I have helped students move from a grade D to a grade A. I always tailor each lesson to the needs of the student and make sure plenty of past paper practice is done within each lesson. I myself did my A-Levels not so long ago and know how challenging they can be, hence I offer great empathy and support for all my students.

My Yr 12 son enjoys his A level Chemistry lessons with Anna- he finds it helpful how they go over exam style questions on topics he is covering at school. He finds Anna easy to talk to and to ask questions on areas he is unclear about. His grades have improved. Thank you!

Anna has been an amazing tutor for my daughter who is studying GCSE Chemistry. My daughter has grown in confidence and has improved her ability in Chemistry. Anna has been exceptionally reliable as well as flexible to fit in with my daughter’s timetable. My daughter enjoys her Chemistry sessions with Anna. I can highly recommend Anna as a tutor.
