I am a qualified teacher with five years of experience in teaching and tutoring. I have taught a variety of students with different needs and abilities. I am currently doing a PhD at the school of Pharmacy, specialising in Chemistry. Tutoring is my passion and I love building relationships and helping students. I am extremely patient and will always go the extra mile with all my students, hence I offer extra support via email if students want to ask me any questions. I believe that with hard work any grade is possible and in the past I have helped students move from a grade D to a grade A. I always tailor each lesson to the needs of the student and make sure plenty of past paper practice is done within each lesson. I myself did my A-Levels not so long ago and know how challenging they can be, hence I offer great empathy and support for all my students.

I can highly recommend Anna as a tutor. She has helped my son no end with his Chemistry A level work - so much so, his initial dwindling confidence has greatly improved as well as his previous to current grade. Anna effectively listens to my son’s concerns and quickly recognised the areas he needs extra support in, using different teaching techniques to reinforce his learning. My son also finds it extremely helpful that Anna’s knowledge of the syllabus gives him a head start in areas he is still yet to learn, which improves his confidence and performance in the classroom. Thank you Anna, your support has been invaluable to my son and we are very excited to see the end result in his final exams.

Anna helped my daughter with some bespoke Chemistry teaching to prepare for Foundation level Chemistry exams. Although the lessons were only for a few weeks, it made all the difference to have someone experienced and professional to guide through key Chemistry topics, past exam papers and areas of concern. My daughter passed with flying colours! Anna is highly recommended
