Information about Beth
I am an Animal Science with European Studies graduate from the University of Nottingham. I achieved a first class honours degree and this course entailed me living and attending university in France for a year. Due to this experience I am confident in French language and am able to offer French language tuition to a high level if required.
I also have an interest in maths and have an A and B in Maths and Further Maths, respectively, at A level. In addition I have an A in both Biology and Chemistry at A level.
Due to my educational background I offer private tuition in the following subject areas:
Maths, English, Science and French at GCSE level
Maths, Biology, Chemistry and French at A level.
All resources are provided. Homework/further work can be set if required.
Availability: Afternoons, evenings and weekends
Willing to travel: 20 miles
Experience: I have tutored biology (AQA & OCR), chemistry (AQA, OCR A, OCR B & Edexcel), maths (AQA & Edexcel) and statistics at A level, maths and science at GCSE level, maths and English at KS2 level and French at KS1 level.

Beth has been very quick to work out the right way to teach our daughter. Things that her school teachers fail to get across in class, Beth manages in a few minutes.
She is always very flexible regarding the topics each week, adapting to the latest topic of confusion, whilst also working towards the curriculum across all the sciences and maths.
We highly recommend Beth.

Bethany helped our daughter through her GCSE science exams. She is knowledgeable but more, she formed an instant, good rapport which meant our daughter was more inclined to listen and learn.

Beth is great with my son who`s doing A level Chemistry she is enthusiastic. She prepares great ways to make it easier for him to understand and always encourages him. She is always on time and never leaves before the hour is up. I would highly recommend her.

I was very impressed with Beth`s tutoring and she was able to bring out some unknown maths confidence from my daughter at a point where her GCSE exam confidence was at a all time low. It was great to see her self confidence grow in a subject that was really intimidating to her.

Lovely tutor. My son has really enjoyed the past month or so of Beth coming to do maths with him. She engages him with all sorts of learning methods from using a computer to working with play dough to keep his attention on the task he is doing. My son and I highly recommend Beth to everyone. I think its great when he asks on a Monday morning if Beth is coming to do maths with him. It show me he is enjoying his time with her and Ive already seen improvements in his work.

Our daughter has found Bethany to be a really good tutor for A Level Biology. She explains things well and gives useful ways to remember facts. She is flexible and proven to be a valuable support to her.

Excellent tutor. My niece, who was struggling with A level chemistry, loves the way she teaches and really looks forward to her lessons each week. Conscientious, using a fun and varied approach, Bethany never wastes a minute and is always generous with her time. So pleased we found her.
