Since I moved to London, I have been a private tutor of Italian, Latin, Ancient Greek and Ancient History! I am a patient and methodical teacher and I have great satisfaction when I see my students making progress and mastering the language. I graduated with honours in 2015 (110/110 cum laude) in Classical Philology and Ancient History (University of Pisa). My research interests are long standing. I started to study Classics when I was fourteen and I decided to cultivate my interest in the Ancient World. I read Classics at University where I took exams in Ancient Greek and Latin language and literature. During my studies, I read many books in the original Greek and Latin language, acquiring solid literary-critic skills, as well as linguistic and historical analysis. I obtained my PhD from UCL in Classics and Ancient History - I work on Cypriot Greek inscri ptions and language. I was teaching Intermediate Greek at Royal Holloway University as visiting tutor and Ancient Near-East History seminars as GTA in UCL.

Experience: I have experience as Latin, Ancient Greek, and Ancient History, and Italian teacher in the UK. During my traineeship period at COASIT, the Italian school board in London, I taught Italian to English students. I prepared them for the Italian Edexcel/Cambridge exam, GCSE and A level (As and A2), with 72 hours of lessons. I organised speaking sessions and written work. I have previous experiences as Italian, Latin and Ancient Greek teacher in Italy too. I can teach Classics with several methods (for instance Athenaze, Reading Latin/Greek) and I can help student with their exams (GCSE, A level). I am able to tutor university students as well.
I attended several workshops about `teaching` and `teaching languages`. For example, I took part in the UCL arena workshop, which prepares you to become a Graduate Teaching Assistant. I taught Intermediate Latin in the London Summer School in Classics, organised by UCL Greek and Latin department - where I also prepared the syllabus of my courses.
