I love books, poetry and really enjoy discussing and analysing literature. My specialist areas are poetry, Shakespeare, the classics and Victorian literature.There is nothing I can`t analyse and explain, and can explore common themes, and set students in the right direction by helping them structuring an assignment and ensuring the flow is right. My long term plan is to do a Phd and become an English Lecturer at a University.

Availability: Available weekdays during school hours and weekends.

Willing to travel: 20 miles

Experience: I have been tutoring for 5 years. My students have attained A and B grades at A level and at GCSE they attained 9`s , 8`s and previously A* grades before the grade changeover. All of my students have gone up by a minimum of two grades and more in some cases. A number of my students have suffered from anxiety and I am experienced at dealing with this.


Prior to this I have had an enjoyable career in the HR world and Investment Banking, but literature and teaching people to understand it is what I really love!
