My name is Delphine. I have been a teacher of mathematics for 16 years in Hampshire (UK). I taught KS3 and KS4 programme in a secondary school for 7 years. I am currently a teacher of mathematics and tutor in an outstanding sixth form college. I have an excellent experience in teaching A-Level Mathematics and GCSE (including GCSE resit). My extensive expertise helps students to build their confidence in mathematics and to well prepare them for their examinations. I often use exam style questions, give feedback and hints on exam techniques to students and provide additional practice questions.

Experience: As an experienced teacher I take pride in planning my lessons carefully and tailoring them to the needs of my students. I enjoy modifying existing exam questions to improve the problem-solving skills of my students or to help my students to access the more challenging questions. I listen carefully my students in order to recognise the topics or skills that they already master or must consolidate.
I organise sessions efficiently: preparing questions on the topics that my students would like to prioritise or topics that I feel that are essential for the progress of my students (gaps in their knowledge); answering any questions from an assignment or practice exercise that students might have found challenging; regularly answer exam questions with guided techniques and provide additional questions to consolidate what was done during the session.
