Jessie

My name is Jessie and I’m a qualified teacher. I’m currently taking a break from the classroom to bring up my daughter. Now that she’s a little older I am able to increase my tutoring hours.

I’m an approachable and patient person who loves to see students grow in confidence. I tailor each lesson to the specific pupil and thrive on seeing them develop and improve their skills.

I have two years tutoring experience, where I have taught English language, literature and history at GCSE level. My currently students are for KS2 maths and English.

At the moment I am only doing online lessons. However, if you’re happy and the weather is nice, I can meet in a park or garden.

Rates vary depending on KS level and subject.

Availability: I am available for online tutoring and also, if you`re happy, outside in a garden or park. I have a 9 month old daughter so try and tutor when my mother-in-law has her, or in the evenings.

Experience: I’m a fully qualified teacher, with two years of tutoring experience too. I have taught many students over the years from a variety of agae groups including: KS2 Maths, KS2 English, KS3 science, KS3 English, GCSE History, GCSE English language and GCSE English literature.

In regards to GCSE I have taught both the Edexcel and AQA syllabuses for history. I have also taught the AQA English language and Eduqas English literature.

I gained straight A’s in my GCSEs and a 2:1 honours degree.
