I`m a first class MSc graduate from UCL`s population statistics department (Global Health and Development) and have a first class BA in History from Exeter. I`m looking forward to creating individually-tailored plans to best help pupils achieve their academic goals. I believe the most successful students are the ones who are the most prepared - and I hope to equip my pupils with the skills needed to strategically approach essays and exams, no matter the topic or age group.

For primary school students, I am happy to assist with any catch up in Maths and English that students may have missed while being out of school during lockdown. I have recent experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in Year 6 and Year 5 - so I feel very prepared to do this. I would also be happy to assist in preparing final year primary school students for their SATs, and have led booster sessions to help children feel more secure in their grade boundaries.

I would be also be very happy to assist with essay editing and proof reading up to a degree level in History - and discuss feedback to pinpoint patterns and areas for improvement. This will really help to build a solid essay writing technique going forward in your academic career.

Experience: I have recently undertaken an MSc at UCL in Global Health and Development, and have a First Class BA in History from the University of Exeter. During my experience in higher education, I built a solid formula for the perfect essay. With a particular focus in social, medical and health history, my specialty lies in the modern period but I have studied vast epochs of human history - ranging from the fall of Rome to the politics of COVID-19. Aside from my time in education, I also feel that my fairly recent experience with A Levels and GCSEs means that I know what students are currently working towards and remember the tactics I used to revise and prepare for exams.
