I am from Sheffield, in the UK. I have a BA Degree in Applied Social Sciences which I studied at Sheffield Hallam University. I am a professional bagpipe player and have been performing at events all over the UK and internationally for over 25 years. I have been employed by Pearson Education for over 10 years as a bagpipe tutor at the Army Foundation College in Harrogate . My hobbies include hiking, cycling, and travelling. I love to keep up to date with political and sociological issues across the world and I have a keen interest in conservation.

Experience:
I make every effort to be a patient, enthusiastic and respectful tutor, I love to teach and have over 20 years experience teaching one to one and 10 years classroom experience teaching young people from (mainly) disadvantaged backgrounds.


I have a number of GCSE`S including English, English Literature, Maths, and Music. I also have A-levels in English, Sociology and Environmental Science.
I have a BA Batchelors Degree in Applied Social Sciences and I have recently obtained a TEFL (Teaching English As a Foreign Language) qualification from Telf.

The main subjects I tutor for are Sociology at GCSE and A-level. I follow the AQA syllabus for A-Level but I`m happy to tutor using other exam boards.
