I am an experienced secondary school Science teacher with 14 years of classroom experience, currently teaching at a local school in North London. I teach all three sciences at Key Stage 3, and specialise in GCSE Biology and Chemistry.
I hold a BSc in Pharmacology from University College London (UCL) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) specialising in Secondary Science. My academic background also includes 4 A Levels (Chemistry, Biology, Classics, and Religion & Philosophy – all at grade B) and 9 GCSEs (2 A*s in Chemistry and English Literature, and 7 As in Biology, Physics, French, Geography, Maths, English Language, and Food Science).
As a practising classroom teacher, I have access to a wealth of high-quality teaching resources and up-to-date curriculum materials, which I integrate into my tutoring sessions to maximise progress and confidence. I am most familiar with the AQA exam board, though I also have access to and experience with other exam board specifications.
