I am an experienced Deputy Head teacher, an energetic and charismatic practitioner with the knowledge, skills and understanding of a range of teaching, learning and assessment strategies needed to make a positive impact on the progress of learners. I am confident and innovative and possess an open-minded, and determined attitude to motivate and inspire success.
Availability: Available Monday - Thursday 6.00-9.00pm and Saturday 9.00-11.00am.

Experience: I have been teaching for 16 years in a wide variety of schools. I am a specialist PE teacher, supporting students at GCSE and A Level. I have also taught Maths throughout my career. I have experience of teaching across a wide range of ages from KS2, 11+ and KS3 Maths and English, through to GCSE Maths and English and a variety of BTEC subjects, to also including A Level PE.

Hello, I would just like to leave a message to say thanks to Stu Evans as he Tutored my sixteen year old Son at our home for five months in both Maths and English GCSE, at the time my Son was really struggling in both these subjects and was receiving level 1 and level 2 in his mock exams after receiving the Tutoring from Stu my sons confidence in both these subjects grew before sitting his School GCSE exams in July where he attained a level 5 in both English and Maths, and can now go on to Sixth form as he had hoped.
Stu`s sessions where relaxed all though structured to get the best out of his Tutoring period, we can not praise this guy enough Thank you again.

We contacted Tutor Stu via Tutor Hunt a couple of months ago, to help our son with his Maths and English who is in year 11 and is about to take his School GCSEs, since then Stu has helped our son greatly improve in both Maths and English and says he now feels more confident in both these lessons at School. Stu is very attentive to detail and arrives well prepared for lessons and also has excellent communication with our son and is very accommodating with regards to dates and times of lessons and has impeccable time keeping, I just wish we had contacted him sooner as we feel he is making a big improvement on our sons learning.

I feel I am learning so much. I am very happy with the lessons and I find the tutor is patient, when I don`t know something he will explain what ever it is till I understand.
