Information about Sidal
I have a First Class degree in Biochemistry from the University of Westminster.
I have 7 years experience and have privately tutored KS2, KS3 and GCSE students English, Mathematics and Science.
I have also worked as a KS3 and GCSE science supervisor at a tuition centre for 4 years.
Seeing students succeed in something they had found difficult is hugely rewarding ! I aim to maintain a relaxed atmosphere in lessons in order to ensure the student feels comfortable enough to ask questions and most importantly say when they are not understanding something.
I am also very familiar with the requirements for KS3 and GCSE examinations, ensuring that each student is able to reach their maximum potential.
I only teach online. This makes the lessons more interactive and engaging. Not only does it make it easier having access to PowerPoints and huge amounts of worksheets, it is also flexible for both me and the student to choose a mutually convenient time.
I can provide references if required.
If interested please get in touch by replying and we can discuss further what your requirements are.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I tutored students in small groups (up to 5 students) and 1:1
Taught all core subjects (English, Mathematics and Science) and guided students in test-taking strategies, note-taking, prioritising assignments and studying for exams
As a supervisor, I collaborated with other staff members to assess the students needs so they could have a more productive lesson, therefore I am familiar with the subject areas students usually find difficult and I am able to adapt the way I communicate to ensure I speak to the students level of understanding
DBS Check: Yes

My daughter has had her first Chemistry lesson and was very impressed indeed. She also enjoyed it. We look forward to the next ones. Thank you Sidal.
