I am an experienced teacher of GCSE maths and have worked in the Portsmouth area for over 20 years. I firmly believe that building up a person`s confidence in their own ability is an important part of achieving success in maths.
I have a 2.1 degree in Maths and Education from the University of York and a PGCE from the University of Bristol.
Availability: Evenings and weekends
Willing to travel: 15 miles
Experience: Over 30 years experience teaching maths. In recent years I have prepared pupils for the Edexcel exam board.
Over the years I have worked with a number of students on a 1 to 1 basis.

Gill was very professional and has a good friendly coaching manner. Our daughter was looking at a retake of her GCSE Maths and Gill was able to Teach, Coach, encourage and provide her with more confidence in approaching the exam. I would highly recommend Gill.
