I am passionate about teaching and have an excellent rapport with my students, who enjoy my lessons. My students gain confidence in both recognising and producing language and are able to see clearly the progress they have made.

I have a BA Hons. degree in French and Italian (University of Reading), a PGCE 11-18 (Canterbury Christ Church University) and have a master’s degree in Translation Studies (University of Birmingham).

Availability: I am available between 9am and 4pm Satur and Sun in Sittingbourne, Faversham or Canterbury.

Willing to travel: 30 miles

Experience: I am currently Teacher of MFL at Simon Langton Grammar School for Boys in Canterbury, where I am also Head of Year 9 and Academic Lead for KS3. I have 7 year’s experience and teach French at KS3, GCSE and A Level. I am particularly familiar with the new AQA specification at GCSE, for which I have experience as an examiner, and the new EDEXCEL specification at A Level, for which I also prepare students to write essays on the film Les Choristes.
