I`m a qualified Geography teacher and former Head of Geography with 8 years experience of teaching GCSE and KS3 Geography in inner London schools where I`ve been fortunate to work with a wide variety of young people.
In 2016, I was appointed as an Examiner for WJEC GCSE Geography, which means I have an insight into what is required of students, and how they can improve their examination performance. Since then I have been an Examiner Associate for AQA GCSE Geography in both 2018 and 2019 exam seasons.
I have a calm and measured approach to teaching, aiming to engage all of my students with modern resources and the real world application of the subjects. I`ve worked with a number of students with Special Educational Needs and those who speak English as an Additional Language.
I can also provide online support and communication using approved educational programs allowing work to be set, exchanged and marked without the need for face-to-face appointments.
