I am an experienced community tutor and qualified teacher with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and a PhD. I believe in inclusive education. Children may not do well at school for various reasons, including SEND needs such as ADHD. In addition, the teaching may be poor or the class may be disruptive. I can help such students. One-to-one tutoring focuses on the individual student, their strengths and how they learn.

Availability: I am flexible and available weekdays and weekends.

Experience: I am a qualified teacher with a PGCE. I taught at a community-led project, All Heads Recognised which provided a community hub and resource for local children in a poorer area. I have tutored for many years in maths, chemistry, biology, physics and combined science to GCSE level. I am familiar with AQA and Edexcel exam boards and their practice papers. I have excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum, the school curriculum and what is required to be taught and when. Recently, I taught at the Ravensbourne School in London.
