I have a strong scientific background in Chemistry and Pharmacy and hold four degrees BSc Chemistry, MPharm in Pharmacy, MSc in Drug Design and synthesis and a PhD degree in Chemistry/Physics in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR). All the degrees were obtained in UK. I have worked and taught both in University and in industry. I also work in the community pharmacy. It gives me a opportunity to share my knowledge and expertise with the members of the community.

I also enjoy teaching and tutoring students of all ages from KS3, GSCE, A levels and degree standards in sciences and Pharmacy. I like to get the parents involved so that they know how well their children are doing.

Experience: • I have taught both in universities and as well as in pharmaceutical industries teaching from drug discovery and development, including organic and physical chemistry, computational chemistry, bioinformatics, simulations, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, clinical pharmacy and medicines therapeutics which gives full and better understanding of drug design to diseases, symptoms and conditions as well as the importance of educating the public/patients on health awareness.
• I have setup labs in computational drug design focusing on bioinformatics, modelling, simulations, forcefields, Hits to leads, looking at metabolic pathways and toxicity end points.
• I tutor to students from KS3, GCSE, A levels and degree levels. I am to make learning of all Sciences, Maths and English fun and enjoyable.
• I focus on exams and exam techniques, firstly following the AQA, Edexcel and ORC syllabus through continuous assessment, working through exam questions, building pupil’s confidence and consistency.
• I apply a wide range of teaching and learning strategies including teaching them higher than their levels if required, making the students to work on application based problems and going on the whiteboard.
• I provide continuous feedback on pupils strengths, weakness, attainments, progress I aim to make learning of all sciences, maths and English fun and enjoyable.
• I also help students with career counselling, UCAS applications and interview techniques –focused for Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Optometry.
