Experienced and qualified Geography and Business Studies teacher with a PGCE and QTS across KS3- KS5 ages 11-18.

I am a patient and understanding teacher, increasing the uptake of students for GCSE options.
My aim as a teacher is to engage students into the subject and to apply the content studied rather than just learning concepts. Within my lessons I practice the content applied, by looking at exam questions from exam boards and the mark schemes to highlight the skills and knowledge needed to attain the top grades.

Experience: I`m a qualified teacher and examiner. I have worked with AQA and Edexcel as an examiner and moderator. This has allowed me to gain a good understanding of the exam requirements.

I have taught the AQA and edexcel exam board for GCSE and A-Level covering a range of topics from natural hazards, urbanisation, ecosystems etc.

I am currently in charge for the Year 8 KS3 scheme of work covering a range of topics including weather and climate, development, coasts etc.
