Information about Julia
All students can achieve and need to feel confident in their learning. They need someone to guide them to understand it is ok to find subject content hard, and to make mistakes but working through it with a professional teacher such as myself makes it easier. I take a methodical approach and check understanding to ensure students are confident.
My sessions are done online removing travel time and increasing flexibility for students.
Availability: Availability is early evening, Saturdays and Sundays. Please contact me to discuss a time that suits you.

Experience: I have been teaching for 26 years and have worked as a teacher in a number of outstanding secondary schools. I have lead training and moderation of student work. I work to ensure students have confidence in their own ability and achieve the best grade they can.
I teach biology and chemistry to GCSE. A level Biology and Chemistry. I have worked with AQA, Edexcel, OCR and International specifications.

My daughter is currently being tutored by Julia for A Level Chemistry and Biology. The sessions have been tailored to meet my daughter’s needs and Julia often provides additional content for my daughter to revise from. Julia is friendly and positive with my daughter, which has made her feel at ease with the sessions. My daughter and I are very pleased with the content taught so far.
