I am a theoretical physicist and mathematician who`s had a life-long relationship with these fascinating fields. I have over 35 years experience teaching both physics and maths, with specialised knowledge of mathematical physics comprising quantum physics and cosmology, as well as expertise in disciplines such as Electronics, Statistics and Engineering.

In addition to teaching, another passion is my ongoing independent research focused on nuclear physics, which has been cited by scholars and researchers at universities around the world and published by peer reviewed scientific periodicals such as Institute of Physics, Philosophical Magazine, Journal of Optical Society of America, Nuclear Science & Technology and Physical Review A.

I live in the South West area of the UK with my family, and continue to offer tuition online.

Availability: I am available Monday to Saturdays with great flexibility of time slots if booked in advance.

I have experience teaching a wide range of ages and availabilities from year 7 (12yrs old) to postgraduate level and have taught physics and maths for the following UK exam boards OCR, AQA, EDEXCEL and CAMBRIDGE INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION. My pursuit of independent research has given me an in depth understanding of the intricacies of the laws of physics and I enjoy integrating this in my teaching to give students an insight that goes beyond the exam topics. I have a particular knack for explaining complex concepts in an accessible way that brings the subject to life.
