Rahathul

I am a current Psychology and Humanities teacher at a secondary school and sixth form in London. I teach A level Psychology, as well as KS3 and KS4 RE. I was formerly a PGCE student at UCL Institute of Education. I am a BSc (Hons) Psychology graduate, awarded an Upper Second Honours. I have been involved with teaching for 8 years (4 years as a mainstream teacher). I have also taught KS3 and GCSE History.

I have experience in teaching students with learning difficulties, as I have worked with a child with significant mental health. This student had severe autism, SEMH, communication barriers and schizophrenia. This role had taught me to teach with a lot of patience and care, which I believe is vital in developing learning in young minds. Experience: I have previous experiences in teaching, as I have partaken in various teaching roles for students. As a psychology educator, I have taught students with all backgrounds in an academic environment. I have also taught students with special needs, as I am able to cater to their needs. I am able to help students utilise their strengths in order for them to provide maximum effort and gain the best possible grade they could hope for.
