Information about Anna
I am a friendly and enthusiastic graduate of the University of Cambridge who is currently tutoring online and in the East Hampshire area. I offer tuition in Maths and Music including instrumental lessons on the flute for a variety of ages and abilities, as well as Oxbridge interview preparation.
I recently graduated with First Class Honours in Music from Murray Edwards College, Cambridge. I have a strong academic background, having achieved 11A*s at GCSE level, and A*AAA in Music, Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A-Level, and so am well-equipped to help students in a range of subjects. I really enjoy working with people of all ages and abilities to help students grow in confidence, enabling them to achieve their learning goals.
Outside of tutoring, I am an aspiring professional flautist, having studied for postgraduate level degrees at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln in Germany. I also enjoy sports, as a keen swimmer, having played for the university women`s water polo team.
Willing to travel: 12 miles
Experience: I have over 3 years experience as a tutor, working particularly with students preparing for GCSE Maths or various Music examinations.
Additionally, I have experience teaching children and young people of a variety of ages and abilities as both an experienced swimming teacher for Enfield Swim Squad, as a tutor for Oxbridge interviews, and as a Gateway Programme academic mentor for younger Arts and Humanities students at Murray Edwards College, Cambridge.
